Within this activity, SHA organized a focus group, inviting migrants and refugees to discuss how the use of ICT technology can reduce prejudice and create an inclusive ecosystem. Students were asked to provide examples of their experiences working as immigrants or refugees in Greece and describe the positive practices they have seen in place as well as the harmful practices they have encountered related to the ICT industry.
Topics that were discussed:
• What Biases have you faced?
• What practices do you think would be of use if the companies put them in place?
• What good and bad practices have you come across?
• What changes would you like to see in ICT technologies
